Warning: Bastille Day approaches. What to do?

Bastille Day is July 14. It's not too late to celebrate the fabulous events of this week; you can save face by whooping it up for the French National Holiday.

Not sure how to go about doing this? Let your friendly Lady Pink Acrylique guide you down this twisted labyrinth. Magically discern her location tomorrow night (hint: she'll be at home) and allow her to ply you with the time-honored refreshments of France: cheese and wine. Marvel at the jubilation of the party-goers around you. Play with the French-language magnetic poetry helpfully placed on the refrigerator door. Cock your beret at a jaunty angle and speak through your nose, for July 14 is The Day to do so. Flowing scarves and existentialism welcome, your stinking Gauloises are not (except outside).

This is a housewarming party, so you may not know what the aforementioned "home" is. That's fine. Call the Lady Pink Acrylique. Email the Lady Pink Acrylique. Comment on her blog. Trust me, she wants you to come. Otherwise she would not have asked!

i do want to come, but i don't think that will go over well with leta in the morning when she calls for that airport ride and have to explain that i'm still in france.
