Merry Christmas to me

Well, if no one else will give me a digital camera for Christmas then it looks like I'll have to do it myself. I also got some pink yarn for the ruffly Ruffles scarf in Pam Allen's excellent Scarf Style.



Reynolds Tiara is a nice silk/viscose blend; the silky parts are a slightly bluer pink than the viscose parts, so there is color variation in addition to textural complexity. Did I mention that it was PINK? Perfect for ruffles. The nice lady at the nice LYS made a remark about how she couldn't believe such a pretty color would be on sale. Believe it!



I have been neglecting the Argyle Vest in favor of working on the mindless 3x3 ribbing of the Teva Turtle shrug, but here are some pictures anyway, to prove that the vest is not just a dream:
